Dawn C. Archer is a family law attorney and founder of the Archer Law Firm. She is a graduate of South Texas College of Law and received her undergraduate degree from The University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. Her legal training and experience lies primarily in the area of Family Law. She is also trained in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Collaborative Law.
As a self proclaimed survivor of a Texas- style divorce, Ms. Archer brings a unique perspective to both her clients and her practice. While both going through her own divorce and attending law school at the same time, she continued to work in the family law community while raising her two daughters. Ms. Archer understands on a personal level, the complexity of practical and emotional issues that clients face during a divorce. She also understands the financial hardships associated with any family law matter.
Experience has dictated Ms. Archer's vision for The Archer Law Firm. She utilizes a modern approach to the practice of family law. She understands Texas law, the Texas Family Code, and what the Courts will require in terms of dispute resolution. She and her staff work diligently towards that end from the first client interview until final completion of the matter. Ms. Archer strives to work with opposing attorneys to create an environment that facilitates settlement and not costly disputes. By identifying disputed issues early on and securing agreements between parties, Ms. Archer furthers the mission of this firm while reducing client costs and providing experienced legal representation.
